I just love catching these candid shots at weddings. Here are a few photos of a little boy who was the ring bearer at Sydney & Trent's wedding this summer in Salisbury, NC. He did a fantastic job for such a young boy, and wow was he easy to photograph. I love those eyes, and that expression on the close up. Enjoy!
What a great senior portrait session this was with Cece, who will be graduating from Radford High School. We started out with dry weather, but the forecast and the radar showed rain coming in quickly. Despite the rain for most all of the session, we were able to capture some amazing images and produce some memorable moments for her and her parents. The photographs will also be fun to show around school. I want to thank Cece for her great attitude during all the rain, and I think that her great spirit shows up in the images. To take a look at more images, check out my Facebook Photography Page. Maybe even send me a friend request and send me a message saying you looked at the photos. Comments are also welcomed at the bottom of this post - let me know what you think.
This is another quick portrait from a very cute little boy, taken while I was photographing a wedding. This little boy was so easy to photograph, especially after I let him see his image. This was taken at Mallory and Anthony's wedding, during the reception. As for their wedding photos, we are meeting this week to review their images, and after they've had a chance to see them all, I'll be posting a few up here for viewing. Happy Tuesday to you.
This bridal portrait was taken in Cincinnati, while I was in a week-long photography class the last week of April. The class was David Ziser's Digital Master's Class. I had a great time learning some new photography techniques, and meeting some other great photographers. I have lots of great images to show you, so I'll be adding some here and there over the next few weeks. Let me know what you think. This image is one of my many favorites.
At John and Nicole's wedding last month, I saw this super cute little boy and had to get a quick photograph during the reception. Adorable, don't you agree? I'll be posting a few photos of their wedding soon, so be sure to check back. In the meantime, head over to the photo store to look at their photos.
Anthony and Mallory were a great couple to work with during the engagement session. The beautiful outdoor colors were such a great backdrop for this engagement session. I thoroughly enjoyed the time with them, and hope you enjoy their slideshow. I have a couple of wedding posts coming up soon, including photos from their wedding on June 5th in Fairlawn, Virginia. It was an outside wedding, and ... check back later this month to see. Click on the box to start the slideshow, or on the small triangle at the bottom of the box. After you click on play, it will pre-load so that you won't have any delays during the playback. And as I always ask, please be patient - it's worth the wait. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
Green grass was everywhere for this scenic engagement photo session with Mallory & Anthony. We had a fantastic time together, and we were able to get in several shooting locations before the sun was gone. We even had the setting sun to play with too. Enjoy these photos, and visit the photo store to see the rest of the session. The wedding is June 5th, so those photos won't be too far behind these.
For this senior portrait session, Hannah and I met in Radford to capture these memories. We were chasing the light as the sun was almost gone by the time we started the session. Here are three of the shots that were made. We are setting up a time to review the rest of the photos, and after Hannah has reviewed them, I'll post quite few more here and on Facebook. Be sure to check back.
I had the opportunity to make some portraits recently for a family gathering. We met at Claytor Lake in Pulaski County, Virginia. The drive from Radford to the lake was along an old narrow road but the scenery along the way got me ready for the photography session. We met at the lakefront home and proceeded to capture some family memories under the bright sun. Despite the sun bearing down on us, the temperature remained pleasant, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We started at the boat dock, and then ended up in the grassy yard looking for shade. Here are just a few of the photographs for you to enjoy.
Jenny & Joey met with me last Thursday in Radford, Virginia to shoot their engagement session. We got rained on after only being there for about 10 minutes - but the hard rain didn't start for another 15 minutes. Then we had to look for some shelter. Here's a sneak peak of a couple of the photos, with more to come next week. Stay tuned.
Jessica and Joel are getting married! I'm looking forward to capturing THEIR DAY this June - only a little over 2 months away. I will be spending some time with them in April to make some early memories live on in photographs. Stayed tuned for some of their photos - they'll be a great couple to capture! Below is a quick photo that I took of them at church after a Saturday event.
Adam and Jesi were married at Blue Pete's in Virginia Beach. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous, as each photograph below reveals. Jesi made a beautiful bride, and the entire wedding party made the day so special. The wonderful scenery at Blue Pete's made the perfect weather even that much nicer. The reflection of the bride and groom in the water provided a spectacular setting for a wedding portrait.
