Stafford Family Portrait Session

I had the opportunity to make some portraits recently for a family gathering. We met at Claytor Lake in Pulaski County, Virginia. The drive from Radford to the lake was along an old narrow road but the scenery along the way got me ready for the photography session. We met at the lakefront home and proceeded to capture some family memories under the bright sun. Despite the sun bearing down on us, the temperature remained pleasant, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We started at the boat dock, and then ended up in the grassy yard looking for shade.
