Jenny & Joey's Engagement Session

I've finally found a few minutes to post a few more of the engagement session with Jenny & Joey. We had to meet two times due to the rainout the first time. We did get quite a few good images before the rain came, and even a few after. For the first session, we met in Radford. The location had a bunch of neat places to make some memorable photographs, although the heavy rain cut the session short. The second session was a week later, and we had much better weather, even though we only had about five minutes of sun. We met in Christiansburg on the family farm where Joey grew up. We started out taking a few photos around the barn, and then moved to the pasture up on top of the hill. The views of the distant mountains were fabulous. The next to last photo was taken where Joey proposed to Jenny. Who knows, they may build a house there some day. What a special memory that is. The last photograph was taken during the brief time the sun was out. I hope you enjoy looking through the photographs. Let me know what you think.

Stafford Family Portrait Session

I had the opportunity to make some portraits recently for a family gathering. We met at Claytor Lake in Pulaski County, Virginia. The drive from Radford to the lake was along an old narrow road but the scenery along the way got me ready for the photography session. We met at the lakefront home and proceeded to capture some family memories under the bright sun. Despite the sun bearing down on us, the temperature remained pleasant, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We started at the boat dock, and then ended up in the grassy yard looking for shade. Here are just a few of the photographs for you to enjoy.
